Accessible kitchens and baths are not for wheelchair users, but for everyone. In this course, you will learn about key considerations when applying the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Planning Guidelines with Support Spaces & Accessibility, 4th ed. in your design solutions.

Topics will include the updated planning methodology, the 6 physical variables of a user, and integrating future accessible needs with ease. Corey will share their personal experiences and navigate the right to access movement for all.

Corey has been a noteworthy leader in the interior design space. You may know them as a Subject Matter Expert and Instructor with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (nkba.org), but can also be credited with contributions to DXV by American Standard, BLANCO North America, the Kitchen & Bath Planning Guidelines, and as a interior design educator and curriculum consultant.

Corey has been honoured as an Innovator of 2022 by Kitchen & Bath Design News for his contributions to the industry at large.

They hold an NCIDQ Certificate, Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD) certificate, is a Professional Educator of IIDA, and is an Accredited Member of DDA Canada. Corey currently resides in Vancouver, BC with his business partner and fiancé Andrew.
